Alexis Gisaro Exposes Kagame’s Manipulation Over Banyamulenge

Alexis Gisaro is DRC's Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works.

The brave Banyamulenge, Congolese Tutsis in general, refuse to be used as pawns in Paul Kagame’s sinister plan to destabilize the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). His oppressive regime continues to plot against the Congolese people, using deception and false claims of protection to justify its aggression. However, the truth is clear: the problems within Congo are internal matters that must be resolved by the Congolese people alone, without foreign interference.

This bold stance was made clear by Alexis Gisaro, the respected Minister of Infrastructure, Public Works, and Reconstruction, during a crucial press briefing alongside Communication and Media Minister Patrick Muyaya on March 11, 2025.

"We are proud Congolese. We want to live in peace with our fellow citizens from all communities. We will never allow ourselves to be a tool for Rwanda’s hidden ambitions. We do not support this project and we reject it completely," declared Alexis Gisaro with unwavering determination.

He made it clear that if a few individuals from the Tutsi community have chosen to collaborate with the enemies of the DRC, they do so only for selfish reasons. Their actions do not and will never represent the will of the entire Banyamulenge community.

"Those who work with Rwanda do it for personal gain. They do not speak for us, and they have no right to drag our community into their betrayal," he emphasized.

Gisaro also exposed the real reason why some Congolese communities have become suspicious of people with Rwandan features: Kagame’s repeated attacks on Congolese land. He urged Congolese citizens to remain vigilant against Rwanda’s trap, which seeks to divide them by manipulating minor conflicts for its own sinister agenda.

"Rwanda’s strategy is clear: create division, provoke hatred, and then use it as an excuse to invade. They falsely claim they are ‘protecting’ us, knowing well that this will make our fellow Congolese see us as a problem. Then, their propaganda will scream discrimination and persecution, justifying further interference. But we see through their lies!" he warned.

He further demonstrated that the Banyamulenge and the broader Tutsi community have always been an integral part of the DRC’s governance. From vice presidents to ministers and members of parliament, they have held key positions in the country. This is undeniable proof that there is no discrimination against them, despite Kagame’s desperate attempts to fabricate a narrative of victimhood.

The truth is undeniable: The Banyamulenge stands with the DRC, not with Kagame. They refuse to be manipulated by Rwanda’s bloodstained regime. The Congolese people must unite to resist foreign interference and expose Kagame’s lies for what they are and a desperate ploy to maintain control over a region that rejects him!
