In his message, President Museveni said:"I congratulate the UPDF leadership for the excellent organization of the joint pass-out ceremony across many military institutions. This method of gathering recruits in one event is a big improvement compared to moving from school to school in the past."

He also praised the new soldiers for their strong performance and thanked the instructors, saying their good training was clear from the well-done exercises he witnessed.

Meanwhile, many Ugandans went online to celebrate the new soldiers. They encouraged them to serve Uganda with pride and dedication.
