Journalist Sengabo Jean Bosco, also known as Fatakumavuta, wrote a letter to the leaders of Gorilla FC. He asked the team to beat Rayon Sports in their game on Sunday, November 24, 2024, saying it would bring him joy while he is in Mageragere Prison.

Gorilla FC is preparing to play against Rayon Sports at Kigali Pele Stadium in a key match. The two teams are at the top of the league standings, with Rayon Sports in first place and Gorilla FC in second.

Fatakumavuta has been in Mageragere since November 6, 2024, facing six charges. On November 21, 2024, he appeared in court to appeal for release, presenting his evidence.

In his letter, Fatakumavuta said he is doing well and is happy to see Gorilla FC performing strongly in the league. He mentioned meeting many Gorilla FC fans in prison and expressed his hope that the team will beat Rayon Sports. He wrote:

"Gutsinda Rayon Sports izaba ari impano ikomeye mu mpaye hano mu buroko, murabizi ko ariyo ntego n’umuhigo."

He thanked the team’s leadership, coaches, and players, saying he maintains “morale” and “discipline” where he is and hopes to return home soon. He addressed the letter to Gorilla FC’s President, Secretary, staff, players, fan clubs, and the media.
