A recent check confirmed that the music video, uploaded on Gomez's YouTube channel two years ago, surpassed 1 billion views, marking the first Nigerian song to reach this benchmark.

Additionally, 'Calm Down Remix' is the fastest African song to achieve 1 billion views on YouTube, hitting the mark within two years. The original version of the song has accumulated over 619 million views on the platform.

In August of last year, the remix with Selena Gomez became the first African song to cross the 1 billion streams milestone on Spotify, where it currently has over 1.5 billion streams.
