Concert Clash: Etana's Nairobi Show Canceled Amid Sabotage Claims

Jamaican reggae artist Etana has claimed that her planned concert in Nairobi on December 7 was canceled due to sabotage. She said Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz scheduled an event at the same venue and time, which she believes caused her show to be called off.
Etana took to social media to share her frustration. She wrote,
"I am not happy about the sabotage, and let me be clear, I am not showing up at Platnumz’s show!! It’s all good!"
According to Etana, her show had been planned months in advance, making the sudden overlap suspicious. She hinted that influential people might have deliberately created the clash. She questioned,
"Who planned it this way? Why now?"
This situation has upset her fans, many of whom were eager to see her perform. Etana also emphasized her disappointment in the actions of those involved, saying that the sabotage would not discourage her from continuing her music journey.
Diamond Platnumz, one of Africa's biggest artists, is known for attracting massive crowds, which may have impacted the interest in Etana's concert. However, neither Diamond nor his team has responded to these claims.
The incident has sparked a larger conversation about fairness and competition in the music industry. Fans of both artists are left wondering if such overlaps could have been avoided and whether these actions were intentional.
