Jamie Redknapp, a former Liverpool player, criticized three Chelsea players after their 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday night in the Premier League.

Chelsea took the lead in the first half thanks to Enzo Fernandez’s goal. However, Aston Villa came back with two goals from Marco Asensio, earning all three points.

Chelsea's goalkeeper, Filip Jorgensen, made a mistake during Asensio’s second goal when the ball went through his body.

Redknapp didn’t hold back, criticizing Jorgensen along with defenders Levi Colwill and Tosin Adarabioyo for their "horrendous mistakes."

On Sky Sports, Redknapp said about Jorgensen:

“He [Asensio] gets a good connection on it but like you say, he [Jorgensen] won’t want to see that again. It’s awful goalkeeping. And they’ve obviously had a problem because both of them [Jorgensen and Robert Sanchez] have made horrendous mistakes this year. He hits it through. He’s got a lot of time to see it. He’s watching it, he’s watching it. I mean, it’s just horrible. It’s horrible for him. It’s just one of those. I mean, I can only imagine how he feels in that dressing room now that everyone makes mistakes.”

After the loss, Chelsea is in 6th place in the Premier League with 43 points. They will play Southampton next on Tuesday.
