The Champions League group stage ended on Wednesday night, making it clearer which teams will face each other in the next round.
Pep Guardiola might return to Bayern Munich, as his Manchester City team came from behind to beat Club Brugge 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
City and Celtic will compete against either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid, with the winners facing Atletico Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen in the last 16.
Aston Villa secured a top-eight finish after Atalanta’s 2-2 draw with Barcelona pushed them into the play-offs. This means Unai Emery’s team will play against Atalanta, Borussia Dortmund, Sporting, or Club Brugge in the next round.
Liverpool finished at the top of their group despite a 3-2 loss to PSV. They will now face one of Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica, Monaco, or Brest.
Arsenal's potential last-16 opponents include AC Milan, PSV, Feyenoord, or Juventus.
The play-off matches are set for February 11-12 and February 18-19.
The draw for these knockout play-offs will be held on Friday, January 31, and will decide the matchups for teams that finished between 9th and 24th place.
