Super Eagles and FC Porto defender, Zaidu Sanusi, recently underwent a successful knee surgery in San Francisco. The procedure was overseen by Professor Jose Carlos Noronha. Sanusi sustained the injury during FC Porto’s league clash against Estrela da Amadora two weeks ago. Unfortunately, this setback occurred shortly after his return from the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, where he represented Nigeria.

As a result of the surgery, Sanusi will be unable to play until the next season. However, he is expected to continue his recovery and return to the field stronger than ever.[africatopsports]
