Former United States President Donald Trump has criticised the Grammy Awards, describing the ceremony as “virtually unwatchable,” and said he is considering legal action against its host, Trevor Noah.
According to the source article, Trump made the remarks in a post on his Truth Social platform, where he referred to the Grammys as one of the “worst” award shows and criticised broadcaster CBS, which previously aired the event.
Trump also took aim at Noah’s performance as host, comparing him unfavourably to late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel. His comments followed a remark made by Noah during the ceremony that referenced Trump and former President Bill Clinton in connection with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Trump strongly denied the implication, stating that he had never visited Epstein’s private island or had any association with it. He described Noah’s comment as false and defamatory, insisting that such an allegation had never been made against him by the media before.
The former president said he was considering legal action against Noah and suggested his lawyers could pursue a lawsuit for damages. He also referenced past legal disputes involving media figures, claiming they had ended favourably for him.
No response from Trevor Noah or Grammy organisers was reported at the time of publication.
