In a recent financial disclosure, Safaricom, Kenya's leading telecommunications provider, announced impressive earnings for its fiscal year ending in March. The company recorded group earnings before interest and tax of 139.9 billion Kenyan shillings (approximately $1.07 billion), excluding its operations in Ethiopia.


This announcement underscores Safaricom's robust financial health and dominant position in the Kenyan telecom sector. The results were made public on Thursday, highlighting the company's continued growth and strategic expansion efforts, particularly in the East African region.
