Kenya is on the verge of making history as the national under-17 women's team, the Rising Starlets, is just 180 minutes away from qualifying for the FIFA World Cup for the first time.

The Starlets achieved a significant victory by defeating Ethiopia 3-0 at the Ulinzi Sports Complex, securing their place in the final round of the U17 World Cup qualifiers.
