The 21-year-old Briton, who seized the yellow jersey on Friday by winning Stage Six from Musanze to Mount Kigali, maintained his lead with a stellar performance.

Blackmore's success marks a notable achievement, succeeding Eritrean Henok Mulueberhane, the 2023 champion who was unable to defend his title due to a shoulder injury that forced him to withdraw from the competition.
