A Historic Alliance Between Africa and European Football Royalty
In a significant move that combines football, culture, and youth empowerment, FC Barcelona has announced a strategic four-year partnership with the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). As part of this deal, all of Barça's professional teams will wear the phrase "R.D. Congo – Cœur d’Afrique" (Heart of Africa) on the back of their training kits for the next four seasons (until 2028/29).

Through its global Barça Academies system, the club will launch a full program of sports activities, camps, and clinics across the DRC for children. These sessions will promote inclusive growth in Football, Basketball, Handball, Futsal, and Roller Hockey, ensuring Congolese youth benefit from world-class training from a young age.
