Bruce Melodie is set to release a highly anticipated new song titled ‘Munyakazi’, one of the highlights as he prepares for upcoming concerts and new music in 2026.

Over his 15-year music career, Melodie has shown that his songs are not just words on paper but a way to express himself, heal, and share his rarely told personal journey with the public.

‘Munyakazi’ was produced with the collaboration of three music producers: Element, who gave it an original arrangement; Loader, who refined the sound; and Bob Pro, who applied his expertise to elevate the vocals. This teamwork ensures a distinctive and unique song.

The lyrics convey Melodie’s courage and resilience, referencing challenges he has overcome. He also alludes to football teams, “Gikona (APR FC)” and “Murera (Rayon Sports),” symbolizing battles he has faced, sending a message of hope and perseverance.

The music video was directed by John Elarts, a Burundian visual artist, and polished by internationally renowned director Julien Bmjizzo. The final scenes were shot at Kigali Universe on the night of December 8, 2025, capturing both darkness and light to reflect Melodie’s journey.

Originally planned for Melodie’s upcoming album, ‘Munyakazi’ will release ahead of schedule, followed by collaborations with Diamond Platnumz and Joel Brown. All songs are expected to launch before a major concert at BK Arena on January 1, 2026.

Melodie also plans a nationwide tour across Rwanda in 2026 with The Ben, bringing his music to fans across the country. ‘Munyakazi’ carries a message of resilience, patience, and determination, rooted in Melodie’s personal experiences and musical journey.
