Tacha Akide, a former contestant on the hit reality TV show Big Brother Naija, recently revealed in a revealing conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo the intense online bullying she has faced, including death threats from fans of celebrated Nigerian musician Davido.

During the interview, Tacha recounted the alarming backlash she encountered from Davido's supporters following a public disagreement. "I received death threats from Davido’s fans. I’ve heard people said, ‘Na our 001 you wan use play? We go show you,’” Tacha disclosed, shedding light on the severe consequences of toxic fandom.

Once an ardent admirer of Davido, Tacha famously showcased her loyalty to the artist by entering the Big Brother Naija house with his tattoo prominently displayed on her chest. However, the dynamics of their relationship shifted as Tacha later decided to remove the tattoo, citing personal reasons in a subsequent interview. Despite the removal of the tattoo and the ensuing conflict, Tacha emphasized her independence and resilience, particularly in the face of unfounded rumors about her personal life.

In her discussion with Jideonwo, Tacha also addressed the persistent rumors about her alleged romantic involvements with married men, staunchly denying the accusations. “There were rumours that I was sleeping with married men but they can’t bring one married man because they know there’s none,” she asserted, proudly stating her self-sufficiency and hard work as the foundation of her success.

Tacha's journey post-Big Brother Naija continues to be marked by her bold confrontations with public scrutiny and rumors, particularly those challenging her character and achievements. As she navigates the complexities of fame, her story highlights the broader issue of cyberbullying and the impact of celebrity culture on individuals' lives
