In an intense FIFA Series clash at Annaba Stadium in Algeria, South Africa's Bafana Bafana were held to a 1-1 draw by Andorra on Thursday evening. In line with his pre-match commitment, South Africa's head coach, Hugo Broos, introduced several lineup changes, providing a platform for numerous players to showcase their skills. Despite expressing a desire for a higher goal tally, Broos commended his team's performance.

The match saw Andorra taking an early lead with Ricardo Fernandez finding the net in the sixth minute, a setback for South African goalie Ricardo Goss. However, South Africa's resilience shone through as Elias Mokwana equalized in the 25th minute, restoring parity.

Despite creating numerous scoring opportunities that could have overwhelmed Andorra's goalkeeper, Antoni Gomes, on another occasion, Bafana Bafana had to ultimately content themselves with a draw. The team is now set to return to Algiers for a more challenging encounter against the Algerian national team in the capital city this coming Tuesday.
