Why is my SASSA grant delayed?
Delays can result from bank verification problems, system maintenance, verification reviews, or because the payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday. Check your details and wait up to 48 hours before contacting SASSA.
What are the SRD payment dates?
SRD payments occur during the last week of each month, usually between the 24th and 31st. Individual pay dates vary and will be sent via SMS once your application is approved.
How to check SASSA payment status?
Visit the SRD portal at srd.sassa.gov.za, enter your ID number and phone number, or use the USSD codes 1203210# or 12069277# to check your status. You can also WhatsApp 082 046 8553 or call 0800 60 10 11.
When is SASSA Paying this Month?
