As excitement builds for the upcoming "Icyumba cy’Amategeko" concert, Rwandan hip-hop legends Riderman and Bulldog continue their preparations with intense rehearsals ahead of the August 24 event at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village. Today, these preparations took a significant step forward as the artists were visited by Igihe TV, which captured exclusive behind-the-scenes moments.

The concert, which is a celebration of their joint EP, "Icyumba cy’Amategeko," is anticipated to be one of the biggest hip-hop events in Rwanda this year. The EP, released on May 31, 2024, has been praised for its nostalgic return to the old-school hip-hop sound of the '90s and early 2000s, featuring six tracks that have been dominating radio airwaves across Kigali.

During the rehearsal, Riderman and Bulldog showcased their commitment to delivering a performance that honors the rich history of Rwandan hip-hop while also embracing its future. The visit by Igihe TV allowed fans to get an insider look at how the concert is shaping up, with both artists refining their setlist and collaborating closely with their band.

In an interview with Igihe TV, Riderman highlighted the significance of the concert:

"This concert is more than just a performance; it’s a celebration of the hip-hop culture in Rwanda. We wanted to give our fans something special, and this show is our way of saying thank you for all the support they’ve shown since the EP’s release."

The rehearsal revealed an exciting mix of high-energy performances and emotional moments as Riderman and Bulldog ran through hits like "Amategeko 10," "Miseke Igoramye," and "Bakunda Abapfu." Fans can expect an explosive concert that will combine the raw energy of their music with an engaging live experience.

Tickets for the concert are available for purchase, with prices set at Rwf10,000 for regular seats, Rwf20,000 for VIP, and Rwf30,000 for VVIP. As the day approaches, anticipation continues to grow, with more surprises and guest performers expected to be announced.

For hip-hop lovers in Rwanda, this is set to be a landmark event—one that celebrates not only the "Icyumba cy’Amategeko" EP but also the enduring legacy of Riderman and Bulldog in the Rwandan music industry.
