Steve Harvey, a prominent American entertainer, actor, and television host, met with President Paul Kagame during his visit to Rwanda.
After the meeting, Harvey shared his thoughts on social media, saying,
"We were honored to sit down with my brother, His Excellency President Paul Kagame. His strength and humility are an inspiration and a testament to Rwanda's resilience and reconciliation efforts."
Harvey, who arrived in Rwanda on November 18, 2024, toured Kigali and visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial at Gisozi, where he reflected on Rwanda’s history and resilience.
At 67, Steve Harvey is known for hosting shows such as Family Feud, Celebrity Family Feud, and the Miss Universe pageant. He began his career as a stand-up comedian in the 1980s and went on to host Showtime at the Apollo and The Steve Harvey Show.
Harvey has also written books, including the bestseller Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man (2009), which was adapted into a popular film. In his personal life, Harvey has been married three times and has four children, along with three stepchildren.
