Rwandan artist Davis D celebrated his first major solo concert, "Shineboy Fest," marking his 10-year music career. The event featured over 10 supporting artists, including South Africa's Nasty C and Burundi's Drama T. Hosted by RBA journalist Luckman Nzeyimana, the concert began at 9:10 PM, highlighting Davis D's decade-long journey in music. DJ Flixx entertained the audience as they arrived, with attendees from various countries, many drawn by Nasty C's performance. University students from nations like Liberia were notably present.
Davis D is recognized for his distinctive style, evident in his fashion and music videos. His fans, dressed to support him, included young women in short outfits, with whistles and cheers energizing the venue. The crowd danced enthusiastically as the concert commenced. Davis D brought Kelly Boo on stage, performing beside a motorcycle, impressing the audience.
Emerging artist Teta Cyuzuzo Liza, known as Lisaa, opened the performances with songs like "Forever." At 9:40 PM, she was followed by Diez Dola, another rising artist, who delivered a dynamic performance despite wardrobe challenges, engaging the crowd with his popular track "What If," featuring Passy Kizito.
