UNEB released the 2024 UCE results, accessible online or via SMS at 500 shillings per message.

Today, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) announced the release of the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results. This significant announcement was shared by UNEB through their X (formerly Twitter) account, indicating that the results became available at State House Nakasero on February 11, 2025, after a slight delay from the originally scheduled release on February 7 due to commitments by the Minister of Education and Sports.

This year marked the inaugural assessment under the revamped lower secondary curriculum, necessitating that students undertake two sets of exams: one for the new curriculum and a transitional set. This step was part of ensuring a seamless shift to the new educational framework.

The results of these exams are crucial as they help shape the educational future of the students. UNEB emphasized the importance of this year’s theme, “Embracing Security and Holistic Assessment of Learners in a Dynamic Environment,” highlighting their commitment to evolving with the educational needs.

Accessing the UCE Results Online:

Students can view their UCE results through the UNEB eReg Portal.

By visiting uneb website and entering their index number, students can quickly access their scores. Additionally, results can be obtained via SMS by sending the index number to 6600, at a cost of 500 shillings per message.

A direct link to check the 2024 UCE results is also available
