Opta Supercomputer Predicts 2024/2025 Premier League Title Winner After Weekend Results

The Opta Supercomputer has updated its predictions for the 2024/2025 Premier League title race, following key results from the weekend's fixtures.

Manchester City dropped crucial points in a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United in Saturday’s early kick-off. Later that day, Arsenal pulled level with the defending champions on 14 points with a 4-2 victory over Leicester City at the Emirates. Liverpool also secured a vital 2-1 win against Wolves in the late fixture.

Despite City’s draw, the Opta Supercomputer has predicted Pep Guardiola's side as the favorites to win the Premier League title, giving them a 73.38% chance of retaining their crown. Arsenal follows with a 17.16% chance, while Liverpool stands at 9.06%. Chelsea, despite a shaky start, has been given just a 0.28% chance.

These predictions reflect the current standings and team form, with Manchester City still leading the title race.
