The Super Eagles of Nigeria stayed at the 44th position in the latest FIFA men's rankings, according to DAILY POST.


The rankings were released on FIFA's website on Thursday. Augustine Eguavoen’s team is also fifth in Africa, behind Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, and Algeria.


In November, the Super Eagles fell eight places to 44th. Argentina, the reigning world champions, kept the top spot, followed by France in second, Spain in third, England in fourth, and Brazil in fifth.

Nine police officers were seriously injured after SFC soldiers stormed Lubowa Police Station and attacked them over injured suspects.
