Victor Osimhen Asserts: 'I Am Worth Over €100 Million'
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has confidently declared his market value to be over €100 million, stating his belief that he ranks among the best footballers in the world today.
In a recent interview with TuttoSport, the 25-year-old, who played a pivotal role in Napoli’s Scudetto win two seasons ago by scoring 26 goals in Serie A, emphasized his worth. This achievement also saw Osimhen become the first African player to claim the Capocannoniere, Serie A's top scorer award.
Despite his significant contributions, Osimhen’s future with Napoli became uncertain last season, as he was linked with top European clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli. However, none of the transfers materialized, leading to his eventual loan to Turkish giants Galatasaray for the season.
Since joining Galatasaray, Osimhen has made an immediate impact, recording two goals and four assists in just four appearances.
Speaking on his value and footballing success, Osimhen said,
“I am worth more than €100 million. There are few players like me who have achieved the same results. My contributions on the pitch, my qualities, and the things I do for the team justify my high valuation. Everyone has their opinions, with some placing my worth at €15 million, and others at €100-150 million.”
