Chelsea’s dominant 3-0 victory over West Ham United on September 21, 2024, was highlighted by a standout performance from Nicolas Jackson. The Senegalese forward wasted no time, netting twice within the first 18 minutes, marking one of the quickest braces by a Chelsea player in a Premier League London derby.

Jackson’s first goal came just four minutes into the game, courtesy of a pinpoint assist from Jadon Sancho. His second followed swiftly in the 18th minute, with Moisés Caicedo playing the key pass that set up the striker’s calm finish. These early goals not only showcased Jackson’s clinical form but also allowed Chelsea to seize control of the game early on, leaving West Ham struggling to recover.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca was full of praise for Jackson after the match, noting the striker’s importance to the team’s evolving attack. Jackson himself emphasized his commitment to improving after a challenging period of injury, stating,

"I scored two, and I’m happy, but most importantly, we won"

Cole Palmer added a third goal just two minutes into the second half, securing the win for Chelsea, but Jackson remained the focal point. Palmer, too, acknowledged Jackson's contribution, affirming his value to the squad and Chelsea's attacking strategy.

This victory extends Chelsea’s solid run of form, with Jackson’s resurgence providing a much-needed boost to the team’s ambitions in the Premier League this season.
