France coach Didier Deschamps has explained his decision to exclude Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe from his latest squad for the fourth consecutive time. On Thursday, Deschamps announced his 23-man squad for France’s upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Italy and Israel, with Mbappe’s absence raising questions.
Deschamps clarified,
“I had discussions with Kylian and made my decision. It’s better this way. Mbappe wanted to come with us, it’s not because of any other problem,”
