New Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is set to be without Victor Lindelof for his first game in charge.


Lindelof sustained an injury during Sweden’s UEFA Nations League match against Slovakia. The defender, who has made 266 appearances for United, was forced off the pitch after less than 30 minutes and required assistance from Sweden’s medical staff.


The injury casts doubt on Lindelof’s availability for United’s upcoming Premier League fixture against Ipswich next weekend. Amorim will also be hoping that other key players return from the international break without any fitness concerns.

Nine police officers were seriously injured after SFC soldiers stormed Lubowa Police Station and attacked them over injured suspects.
