Cheptegei, 27, showcased his dominance on the final lap, sprinting ahead to clock an impressive time of 26:43.14 at the Stade de France. This victory adds to his illustrious career, which includes three world championship titles in the 10,000m.


The race was fiercely contested, with Ethiopia's Berihu Aregawi taking the silver and the United States' Grant Fisher securing the bronze. Cheptegei's triumph on the striking purple track was a highlight of the evening, earning applause from the enthusiastic crowd.
