Jamie Carragher: Man City’s Top-Four Spot at Risk Amid Struggles

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has warned that Manchester City might not secure a top-four finish in the Premier League this season. Speaking on Sky Sports after City's 2-0 defeat at Anfield, where goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah led Liverpool to victory, Carragher expressed concerns over City's form.

This loss places City fifth in the league, trailing Arsenal, Chelsea, and Brighton. Under Pep Guardiola, City has suffered four consecutive league defeats and six losses in their last seven matches across all competitions.

Carragher noted similarities to Liverpool's struggles two years ago and suggested that without reinforcements in the January transfer window, City may find it challenging to surpass Arsenal and Chelsea.
