Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola, expressed his reluctance for his team to encounter Barcelona in this season's Champions League. Guardiola, who previously managed Barcelona, noted that his deep affection for the Catalan club makes the prospect of facing them emotionally challenging.
"Facing Barça in the Champions League would be difficult for me emotionally,"
Guardiola stated, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. He reminisced about his successful and joyful tenure at Barcelona, during which he secured multiple Champions League and La Liga titles, describing the club as "the team of my heart."
