Rigas FS head coach, Viktors Morozs, acknowledged that his team would have faced a tougher challenge if Victor Osimhen had been on the pitch during their UEFA Europa League clash against Galatasaray on Thursday, according to a report by DAILY POST.

The Latvian team fought brilliantly against a two-goal deficit to earn a 2-2 draw. Osimhen, who missed the game due to a muscular issue, could have had a huge impact, Morozs confessed.

"It would have been a different story if Osimhen had played. He would have brought more strength to Galatasaray,"

Morozs told Haber Global.

"Osimhen is a very different kind of player compared to Icardi. I believe he could have broken through our defense more easily."

He added that the Nigerian striker's absence was a setback for Galatasaray, noting,

"Playing against a forward like him would have been tough. His absence was definitely a blow for them. Osimhen is strong and dangerous, and it would have been difficult for us had he played tonight."
