Opta’s Supercomputer has released an updated prediction for the Premier League title race, with Liverpool emerging as the new favorites. This shift follows Manchester City’s recent defeat to Brighton.

Liverpool strengthened their lead at the top of the league after a 2-0 win against Aston Villa, now standing five points clear. According to Opta's simulations, Liverpool has a 60.3% chance of winning the title, a significant rise from the 5.1% chance given at the start of the season.

Manchester City, initially predicted to retain their title with an 82.2% probability, now stands as the second favorite, with their chances reduced to 34.3% after their latest loss.

Arsenal, aiming for their first title since 2004, now has just a 5% chance of winning, according to the Supercomputer’s current projections.
