Businessman and Professor Accuses Wife of Trying to Kill Him for his own wealth

Professor Badru Kateregga, a well-known businessman and academic, made emotional claims on Eid day, saying his wife, Nnaalongo Jolly Shubaiha, tried to kill him in their home in Buziga.

He said the attack left him with serious head injuries that put him into a coma. He believes that emergency treatment in the ICU is the only thing that saved his life.

Kateregga said he left the house out of fear and is no longer living in the mansion he built to enjoy during his old age. He also believes his wife wanted to take over everything he owns, including Kampala University, their house, and his bank accounts.

His daughter, Fakia Kateregga, supported his claims, saying their mother had a pattern of hurting their father physically and sometimes even locking him inside the house.

On the other hand, Shubaiha has denied all the accusations. She said that these claims usually come up whenever Kateregga starts seeing younger women.

The public has reacted strongly to the news, with many people asking for a fair investigation to find out what really happened. So far, the authorities have not made any official statement, and the public is still waiting to see what comes next in this family issue.
