Bugembe a renowned youth pastor under public pressure to marry

For almost twenty years, Pastor Wilson Bugembe has been one of Uganda’s most famous bachelors. His followers have been both curious and impatient, waiting for the day he finally says, “I do.” But could he be getting closer to marriage?

Over the weekend, a photo of Pastor Bugembe sitting next to a beautiful woman, Dr. Jan Mukiibi, at his church in Nansana spread quickly on social media. Many online “in-laws” immediately started saying she would be a perfect wife for the pastor.

However, neither Pastor Bugembe nor Dr. Jan has confirmed if they are in a relationship. Still, the internet is already making predictions. Some fans are telling him to “stop delaying and settle down,” while others wonder if they are just friends.

WHO IS DR. JAN MUKIIBI?

Dr. Jan Mukiibi is more than just a beautiful woman. She was Miss Uganda UK (2017-18) and has made a name for herself in medicine. She currently works with the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) and recently moved to Uganda as part of the NHS Global Health Fellowship.

She is working with the Ministry of Health to improve mental health services in the country.

With her intelligence, kindness, and passion for helping others, many believe she could be the perfect match for Pastor Bugembe.

WILL BUGEMBE EVER MARRY?

Pastor Bugembe, now 41, has always assured his followers that he plans to marry, though he has been saying it will happen “very soon” for years. His fans, however, are starting to lose patience.

“I have met his ladies,” his brother once said, meaning the pastor has been looking for a wife but has not found the right one yet. Could Dr. Jan be the woman who changes that?

For now, it remains a mystery. But if social media had its way, a wedding would already be on the way!
