Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) chairman, Ernest Thompson, has revealed that some Black Stars players are unhappy with Jordan Ayew's appointment as team captain.

Thompson stated,

"Some players are not happy with Jordan Ayew being the captain."

He emphasized the importance of selecting a captain who commands respect from all team members to maintain unity and morale.


Thompson also highlighted the need for the GFA to address internal issues promptly to prevent them from affecting the team's performance.
