Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Martin Odegaard and Riccardo Calafiori will miss Saturday's Premier League match against Newcastle United due to injury. Both players are still recovering.

In his pre-match press conference on Friday, Arteta also provided an update on Ben White, saying,

“Riccardo and Martin are out definitely. With Ben, we don’t know yet. He hasn’t trained yet. He could not train, he could not get involved, so let’s wait and see if he’s available. This is related more to a joint.”

Arsenal is currently in third place in the Premier League, behind Liverpool and Manchester City.
