Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim speaks during a press conference, emphasizing bravery and strategy ahead of the team's crucial match against Arsenal.
Manchester United's new manager, Ruben Amorim, is preparing his team for a challenging Premier League match against Arsenal on Wednesday. United, currently ninth in the league and 15 points behind leaders Liverpool, have struggled with scoring this season, netting only 13 goals in their first 12 matches. However, they showed improvement with a 4-0 victory over Everton in their last game.
Amorim acknowledges the difficulty of the upcoming match, stating,
"It's the best team that we have faced by far."
He emphasizes the need for bravery and strategic play, noting that being brave doesn't mean pressing high all the time but understanding the game's moments and maintaining possession. He adds,
"We want to have the ball, we want to dominate some moments of the game, because you know these matches it's hard to control all the game."
Team captain Bruno Fernandes, who was substituted in the 66th minute against Everton, is expected to be fit for the Arsenal match. Amorim confirmed,
"I saw him already this morning. He's fit and he doesn't need any more rest."
This match marks a significant test for Amorim's tenure at United, as they aim to build on their recent success and improve their league standing.
