The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers continued on Thursday with several matches played across the continent.


In Group D, Nigeria’s Super Eagles played a 1-1 draw with Benin Republic in Abidjan. Victor Osimhen scored an equalizer in the second half to earn a point for Nigeria.

Other results saw Senegal claim a 1-0 win over Burkina Faso, while Niger secured a 4-0 victory against Sudan.

More AFCON qualifiers are scheduled for Friday, including Cape Verde vs. Egypt, Uganda vs. South Africa, Mozambique vs. Mali, and Botswana vs. Mauritania.
