Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ bid for a second bail appeal was rejected on Wednesday, following his plea of not guilty in a sex trafficking case. This decision was reported amidst concerns raised by his legal team regarding the severe conditions of his detention.

The 54-year-old music mogul, arrested earlier this week, faces charges of orchestrating a criminal network allegedly involved in sex trafficking since at least 2008. Prosecutors claim that Diddy used drugs and coercion to compel women into satisfying his sexual demands.

During the court session, his attorneys proposed a bail arrangement that included a $50 million bond, which would be co-signed by Diddy and his family, along with conditions for home detention, passport forfeiture, weekly drug screenings, and a daily visitor log submission to pre-trial services.

However, Judge Andrew Carter dismissed the bail proposal, expressing significant concerns over potential risks such as obstruction of justice and witness tampering.

"That is a real concern that I have here,"

Judge Carter remarked.

Following the unfavorable decision, Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, addressed the media, stating,

"The verdict did not go our way,"

but affirmed,

"The fight continues."

Diddy faces several serious charges, including racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for prostitution, as outlined in a detailed 14-page indictment. The charges carry potential penalties ranging from 15 years to life imprisonment if he is convicted.
