Pep Guardiola reacts as Man City suffers a shocking 4-2 defeat to PSG in the Champions League.
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, admitted that Paris Saint-Germain played better as his team lost 4-2 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The English champions had a two-goal lead but ended up losing in France.
Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland scored quickly for City at Parc des Princes. But PSG made a strong comeback, with goals from Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola, Joao Neves, and Goncalo Ramos.
This result puts City in 25th place, and they are now at risk of being eliminated from the tournament.
After the match, Guardiola spoke to TNT Sport and said:
"First half, they had some chances, we had some too. But they were better.
"We were leading 2-0, then they scored after five minutes, and we could not control the game.
"When they got their first goal, they gained confidence. They were quicker, won more duels, had one extra player in midfield, and we could not match them.
"They were simply better. We accept the defeat. The best team won. Now, we have one last chance at home against Brugge. If we win, we qualify..."
