Liverpool's manager, Arne Slot, has been banned for two games by the Football Association (FA). This decision follows his red card in the match against Everton earlier this month.
Slot was sent off after he approached referee Michael Oliver on the field following a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park.
As a result, Slot will miss Liverpool's home game against Newcastle on Wednesday and the match against Southampton on March 8.
However, Slot will be allowed to coach during Liverpool's Champions League last-16 first-leg match against Paris Saint-Germain on March 5.
Liverpool's assistant coach, Sipke Hulshoff, has also been given a two-game ban.
Both Liverpool and Everton have been fined £65,000 and £50,000, respectively, for not controlling their players.
