Isco, the captain of Real Betis, has apologized to the fans of Real Madrid following his goal celebration. This occurred during the match where Betis defeated Real Madrid 2-1 at Estadio Benito Villamarin.

Real Madrid initially led the game with a goal from Brahim Diaz. However, Betis equalized before halftime through Johnny Cardoso, and later, Isco secured the win with a penalty at the 54-minute mark. This penalty was awarded after Antonio Rudiger fouled Jesus Rodriguez.

Isco celebrated his goal energetically in front of the Betis fans, but later expressed his regret, especially considering his past with Real Madrid.

"I apologize to Real Madrid fans for my celebration,"

Isco remarked post-match.

"I am very grateful to Real Madrid; they will always be in my heart."

Following this match, Real Betis is now sixth in La Liga, while Real Madrid is third, trailing behind Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
