Another Nigerian player, Ola Aina, played the full 90 minutes for Nottingham Forest. Calvin Bassey scored the winning goal as Fulham beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Emile Smith Rowe put Fulham ahead after 15 minutes. Nottingham Forest responded with Chris Wood tying the score seven minutes before halftime.
Bassey secured the win with a goal two minutes past the hour mark. This was the defender’s first goal of the season for Marco Silva’s team. His fellow Nigerian, Alex Iwobi, also played the entire match. Ola Aina, another Nigerian, was on the field for the full 90 minutes for Nottingham Forest.
