Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has officially joined Turkish champions Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli.

Galatasaray has confirmed that the Super Eagles forward will earn a net salary of €6 million during his loan stint. Osimhen will don the number 45 jersey for his new club.

While Napoli retains the option to extend his contract until June 2027, the Italian side is preparing for the possibility of a future sale. By next summer, his release clause is expected to drop significantly to €75-80 million, down from the current €130 million.

Osimhen, who joined Napoli from French club Lille in 2020, has been a key player for the Serie A team, amassing an impressive 76 goals and 18 assists in 133 appearances across all competitions.
