Pep Guardiola, Manchester City’s manager, said his team is “fragile” and “not stable” after they gave up a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Feyenoord in the Champions League. Erling Haaland scored two goals, and Ilkay Gundogan added another with a deflected shot. However, Feyenoord came back with goals from Anis Hadj-Moussa, Santiago Gimenez, and David Hancko to earn a draw.

Speaking to Amazon Prime, Guardiola explained:

“The game was fine at 3-0, playing good, but then we conceded a lot of goals because we were not stable. We gave them the first and then the other one, that is why it was difficult.”

He added,

“We have lost many games recently, and we are fragile. We needed this win for confidence. We were playing well, but when something happens, we struggle. I don’t know if it’s mental. The first and second goals shouldn’t happen. After that, we lost focus and got desperate. At this level, we cannot give away goals like that.”
