Argentina retains the top spot in the FIFA rankings, with Belgium rising to third and Nigeria making a notable climb to 36th in the latest October 2024 update.
The latest FIFA Men's World Ranking, as of October 24, 2024, shows Argentina retaining the top position with 1,858 points after consistent performances. France is ranked second with 1,840 points, despite a minor decrease. Belgium, climbing back into third place, continues to perform well in recent matches, tallying 1,795 points.
England, with 1,794 points, holds fourth place, narrowly surpassing Brazil, which slipped to fifth with 1,788 points. Portugal, Netherlands, Spain, and Italy make up the rest of the top ten, with Italy’s recent rise to ninth marking its best standing in several months​
