Rwanda’s head coach, Torsten Spittler, has stated that his team will fight hard to secure a win against Nigeria in their AFCON 2025 Qualifier. Rwanda, currently third in Group D with five points, needs a victory to keep their qualification hopes alive, trailing Benin Republic by two points.

The Super Eagles, who have already qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, will look to maintain their unbeaten record in the qualifiers.

During a press conference in Uyo, Spittler said,

“It’s clear that if we must go to AFCON 2025, we’ll have to win here [against the Super Eagles]. That’s our mission. I’m expecting an interesting match against Nigeria, and we’ll fight until the last minute.”
