Ademola Lookman missed training on Saturday as the Super Eagles began preparations for their final AFCON 2025 Qualifier against Rwanda. The match is set to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Monday.

Super Eagles media officer Promise Efoghe confirmed that Lookman picked up a knock during Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against Benin Republic on Thursday, where he was replaced by Frank Onyeka late in the game. His participation in the match against Rwanda will be decided after Sunday’s final training session.

Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has been released from camp due to an injury sustained against Benin Republic. Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has also left camp following the death of his father.
