The Amavubi of Rwanda will arrive in Uyo on Friday for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.


Rwanda lost 1-0 at home to the Mediterranean Knights of Libya in Kigali on Thursday and will now face the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Monday.


The Amavubi must defeat Nigeria and hope Benin Republic lose to Libya to secure qualification for the AFCON 2025 finals.


Nigeria has already secured qualification for Morocco 2025 and first place in Group D. Augustine Eguavoen’s side drew 1-1 with Benin Republic on Thursday night.
