Show time as Mamelodians take lead of Group A. @africafootunited

Mamelodi Sundowns secured a 1-0 victory, claiming the top spot in Group A during their CAF Champions League clash at Lucas Moripe Stadium. In a well-calculated performance, the team dominated after a cautious start, and Lucas Ribeiro earned a penalty in the 36th minute.

Namibian striker Peter Shalulile broke his goal drought by converting the penalty in the 38th minute. The home side maintained their passing and pressing game, restricting the visiting Congolese side's possession. In the second half, Sundowns continued their dominance, with Themba Zwane's early shot saved by Senegalese goalkeeper Alioune Badara Faty. Goalkeeper Ronwen Williams showcased excellent passing, while new right-back Zuko Mdunyelwa impressed. The matured display in the second half denied TP Mazembe clear-cut opportunities, securing Sundowns' top spot in Group A.
